Programs

My Backyard Program

My Backyard is a self-guided program designed to assist and guide residents with healthy soil, lawns, trees, shrubs, perennial flowers, and more.  Learn more about the My Backyard Program.

Healthy Virginia Lawns

Have the Loudoun County Master Gardeners take a soil sample of your lawn and determine just how much fertilizer and lime you need. Applying too much can deposit excess nitrogen or phosphorus in our local streams. Learn more about the Healthy Virginia Lawns Program.

Garden to Table Program

The Garden to Table (G2T) team is dedicated to helping county residents establish organic vegetable and fruit areas in their home gardens or other community areas. Learn more about the Garden to Table program.

Pond/Stream/Site Erosion Assessment

Master Gardeners can come out to visit your property to assess your pond, stream or an area with soil erosion. Our goal is to provide pond owners a set of options for nuisance plant control so they may choose those best fitting their objectives, stream owners with options on buffers, and property owners with stormwater runoff options to remediate. Learn more about the Programs.

Tree Stewards Program

The Tree Stewards are Master Gardener Volunteers who have completed the Advanced Master Gardener Tree Steward training. Their mission is to provide education to the community regarding the environmental benefits, appreciation, planting and proper care of trees. Learn more about the Tree Stewards Program.
